Ive got an Acer Aspire 5315 with a gig of ram, 80 gig HDD and WLAN,
but do not have a wireless card for my xbox
& I also use a 3G dongle for my internet, so how else can?

If you do not get the wireless adapter for Xbox (about £ 65) you could buy an ethernet cable (Maplins about £ 23 for a cable of 15m). I connected my son's XBox to my router with the cable and is absolutely beautiful, but be sure to mention it is for an Xbox at the time of purchase, rather than another PC or laptop, for the correct cable.
You must connect to the router, not your laptop. Unless your laptop is connected directly to the router.
I use an Ethernet cable connected to my wireless laptop works fine. Go to YouTube. com and type what you want, it's easy
