Being an engineer, my career allows me to evaluate a lot of computers and telephones. Almost all the offers were not of quality, speed and functionality, and PDAs have been just great. Others have been so expensive as laptops, were just fine.
Aspire One has recently published a 11. 1 "film version (large by netbook standards) and Atom Z520 processor (fast for a netbook). With Windows XP, the benefits are fantastic. I can watch DivX and Xvid encoded video good. With the larger battery, I have 6 hours of use maximum screen brightness (which is very light) and in 10 hours at low brightness.
This netbook is available in four colors and I chose black (Acer Aspire One AO751h-1545) to hide his fingerprints (netbooks The only negative point). I tried all the sources and the best price through Amazon ($ [...] included) through J & R Music and Computer World.
If you want to make your computer faster, follow these steps: uninstall trial of McAfee and install the free "Avast Antivirus" and Free "Spybot Search & Destroy." Uninstall Microsoft Office Trial, and install "OpenOffice". Uninstall the DVD software (there is support units). I bought this netbook to replace a 15. 4-inch MacBook Pro (I know the blasphemy at all), rather than replace, but instead of traveling with Mac (which I keep still, because the company issued). I use most of the web browser (we sell a software-based Saas), iTunes for my iPhone, and Microsoft Office (sparingly). I also made a web presentation using GoToMeeting, which has worked without problems. My only complaint is that all what I expected was the poor performance (yes I did go to 2gig and I'm not on XP Vista – shudder), but again, I expected that. Two complaints are the heavy battery, is balanced on my knees, as heavy as the laptop goes back all the time and Flex specifically for rear screen (or cover) when it's closed and I have to grip, feels as if he had have been able to squeeze a lot. I found a sort key creak a bit ', but the keyboard is a joy for the type of comparison to 8. 9 Acer Aspire One (which I also own). Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase. The CPU is very slow. Good thing that has a battery. You will need, because it will take more time to do your job. Seem to take forever to load. The advantage of this machine is lightweight and the screen is beautiful. Battery lasts as announced at the birth.
You're better off with a laptop computer that uses the Atom 270 or 280 CPU, which is 1. 6 MHz do not think so. 3 MHz makes the difference, but it is.
One last thing: I noticed a sound of high intensity of netbooks. I can not say what this type of noise. This could be run, if the drive or fan.
